Move over Summer, Autumn is coming! As October approaches and temperatures start to drop, there is not doubt that the fall season is upon us…and that can only mean one thing; a new wardrobe!
Autumn is by far my favourite time of the year simply because I find fall fashion irresistible! Who can say no to oversized jackets and cozy knit turtlenecks?! I don’t know about you, but when I think of fall I think of pumpkin patches, warm cinnamon lattes and neutral wardrobe colour palettes, however fall 2019 just may bring a whole new way of thinking.
Purple Passion
This coming season is proving to be extremely unique from Autumns we have seen in the past, bringing colours and trends you wouldn’t necessarily expect! This year trade in your neutral knits for an extremely bright colour pallet. Shades of purple, shocking pink, pistachio green and orange are fashions favourite colour this season. Purple you say?! In the fall? This is definitely not the norm, but its my favourite colour so there are no complaints from me! This colour presents itself as a fall trend in all different shades, so don’t be surprised if you see an abundance of this colour for months to come. From violet coloured jackets to pastel lilac sweaters, this colour trend is sure to dominate the fashion scene this season and one that i have no problem getting behind. Below I’ve featured several photos of myself in my favourite knit sweater. This turtleneck is from Garage and with its soft purple colour, makes sure that I am always on trend this season. To complete the look I’ve paired it with a purple scrunchy and heeled boots.
Leopard Print Love
Moving on from colour, one of my very favourite style trends is back and bigger than ever this fall. You guessed it — animal print! As one one of the biggest trends last year, animal print fashion has proved its here to stay for a little while longer. From tiger stripes, snakeskin and leopard print, this trend is definitely one to look out for! My favourite of the bunch? LEOPARD PRINT! I own so many pieces of leopard print clothing but am in love with them all. Below I am pictured in one of my newest purchases; a satin skirt featuring the popular print. It is so versatile and easy to dress up or down depending on the look you are going for. With a few of these looks added to your wardrobe you will definitely be looking on trend this Fall 2019.
