The Euro Trip Continues…
Welcome to London! Thats right, after our program trip to Paris had come to a close, myself and Danielle over at campustocashmere hopped on a train and headed to my favourite place in the entire world! LONDON ENGLAND! I had lived in this city for two years previously and in that time it quickly became my favourite city. The accents, the architecture, the Queen; what more could you want?!
This of course wasn’t my first time in the city but it was Danielles’ so I knew that we had to do London to its fullest. Double decker busses, red phone booths and Big Ben was just the beginning. London is one of the biggest cities in the world and the list of things to do and see is never ending. We started off very classic British and went to a very upscale afternoon tea. I can safely say that was one of the most posh experiences of my life. It was a whole afternoon event but definitely so worth it! We also took in a West End musical (Wicked–if you haven’t seen it it’s a must!) and hit up all the iconic London landmarks such as the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. Ive been to this palace countless times now and still have not been invited into tea with the royals; I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing wrong!

Crazy For Christian (Dior)
One of the highlights of this trip was most definitely the Dior exhibit. This exhibit was temporary and the tickets had been sold out for months but we knew, as fashion students, we had to see it. After some researching I discovered that there was a limited number of tickets released at the door each day. Somehow the stars aligned and we got the last two tickets of the day after waiting in line for almost two hours. WE WERE IN! This exhibit was nothing short of incredible. From original Christian Dior drawings to hundreds of dresses from multiple collections, it was something I never thought I’d be able to see!
Overall London this summer was incredible (as it ALWAYS is) and there is no doubt I will be back in 2020!
